Unknowingly it is going to be almost one year of mine sydney stay.I had come here on the 30th of January,2008 and today its 16 th of January2009.Many ups and down ,lots of happiness and grieveness,plenty of troubles and sentiments, I had to face which is hard to explain exactly as it happened....I am by nature,somewhat different from others.
The life in Kathmandu was somewhat enjoyable and of unique importance.Almost each and every day I had to go to school early in the morning at 7.00 for which I had to set out at5.45am.I used to be almost at about 3.00pm in the last months but before that I used to be busy till 5.00pm.I had three schools to teach,mostly the free time used to be passed on teaching tuition,setting questions for the terminal exams.The weekends I hardly could utilise with the family members.Gita used to request for the frequent visit to the different places but her requests I hardly could do say ok.
The truth is the life was joyous and progressive in terms of family matters though the earning could hardly fullfill the needs and growing necessities.I used to earn in average minimum 15000.00 NC permonth.The amount was nothing for running the whole family's needs and necessities...
Thinking it would be far better to go to abroad,I unknowingly initiated the process.The time made me to leave Dhapasi and arrive Sydney.
While being in Kathmandu ,the gathering together of all family members during the news time at 8.00pm really used to be fantastic.I used to make Manas(Dai's son)play ball on the roadside and in the open fields.
Here in Sydney,the life is totally different.Though I donot have anysorts of homesickness and other homely matters ,I can't get the pleasure of what I used to get in Ktm in real sense.I have been earning not so much nowadays,its almost$400.00 per week ,few months before I used to get $500.00 perweek.Its really tough period for me.Almost $120 is to be spent per week for the rent,bills ,train and grocesseries.So, at the moment only $250 hardly get saved which equals to $1000.00 in one month.It worths NC 52000.00 per month at the present currency rate.Its not bad but not the sum to be appreciated.
